September 7, 2012, Slideshow By Mike Fak, Thursday evening a near full Mt. Pulaski Legion hall hosted the Courthouse Foundation fundraiser and awards evening. A superb meal prepared by Hilltop Catering got everyone in a good mood before the evening's program. Marilyn Tanner-Blasiar  won the Outstanding Alumni award and Darrell Knauer won the Casimir Pulaski Distinguished Citizen award.

Guy Fraker was the keynote speaker. Fraker is the author of the new treatise: Lincoln and the Eighth Judical Circuit. Projects are under way to maintain the courthouse and will continue with donations of both money and time needed to preserve the building. The slideshow is presented by  ME Realty.

   During his talk Fraker said he was uplifted by the fact those in attendance understand how important it is to preserve the historic heritage of the courthouse.
