August 17, 2012, In response to the overwhelming demand of art to brighten up the spaces that we humans occupy, The Lincoln Art Institute at 112 South McLean Street in Lincoln is pitching in to help out the likes of Sotheby's in London, Christie's in New York, and Saatchi's in Paris, by holding an art auction of works by local artist.

Institute owner Toby Prang, who uses the artistic name of Moses Pinkerton said, "The project is three fold.  First, to help out a local charity, second, to support the addiction of the artist , and third,  to enrich the life of the buyer by boosting their endorphins. People with a mix of international heritage are expected to attend and bid in the hopes of finding the next Dali, the next Rembrandt, the next Michaelangelo. So mark your calendars, grab your checkbooks, and raise your bid paddles on Sat.  Sept 15th at 3pm."
