Prairie Engineers adds environmental science division
 | From left: Joe Bartletti, Natalie Porter, and Bryan Cross | January 18, 2013, Prairie Engineers of Illinois, P.C. has added an environmental science division to assist our clients with environmental permitting, natural resources management, and compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). They now offer the services of three employees with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and infrastructure project planning.
Bryan Cross of Springfield, Illinois has joined Prairie Engineers of Illinois as our Environmental Services Manager. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Environmental Biology, with emphasis on land management and ecological restoration. Since that time, he has had a diverse career in the public and private sector. He has a wide range of experience as an Environmental Manager ranging from the search and study of endangered bat species to designing restoration projects and serving as the environmental lead during the development of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents.
Natalie Porter of Decatur, Illinois has joined Prairie Engineers of Illinois as an environmental scientist. She is a graduate of Millikin University with a B.S. in Biology. Porter is also a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield where she received her Masters of Science in Environmental Studies. Porter has over five years of experience as an Environmental Scientist working with wetland delineations and mitigation, habitat conservation plans, endangered species studies, public involvement and NEPA documentation for road, rail and airport projects.
Joe Bartletti of rural Buckhart, Illinois has joined Prairie Engineers of Illinois as an environmental scientist. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University of Carbondale with a B.S. in Zoology. Bartletti is also working towards his Masters of Biology at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Bartletti has been active in the field of professional consulting for over eight years and possesses experience with a wide diversity of environmental service projects. His project related experience includes development projects ranging in size from a few acres to large scale wind energy developments that span over 60 square miles.
