Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:22 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Carlton to approve the minutes from November, 2012 as printed. Motion passed.

Mr. Siltman presented the November call report. There were 328 calls in November. The volume for the year was 4,249 calls.

Quarterly Budget Report – This report will be available at the January meeting.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to pay the bills. Motion passed.

Vehicle Status Report – Mr. Siltman reported the 98 International purchased several months ago is ready to begin operations. It is currently in use as a backup while waiting on installation of the radio system. The 09 Ford is still suffering from mechanical failures. It broke down during a transport to Indianapolis and had to be towed back to Lincoln. They are currently investigating the problem. The remaining vehicles are in running order.

Old Business:
Mr. Siltman discussed the rate comparison he previously provided this committee. For many services, Sangamon County rates are lower. However, they are a more urban service compared to our rural service. That provides them greater volume which allows them to offer lower rates and shorter calls. Comparing the five rural ambulance services on this report, LCPA receives considerably less tax dollars than other counties. He plans to have a resolution ready for the January meeting to request a referendum for a 5-cent increase in the tax levy.

New Business:
Nothing additional to report.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:36 pm.
