December 27, 2012, The Lincoln Kiwanis Club will be having their annual Chili and Oyster Stew Dinner on January 12 at the Lincoln American Legion Post , 1740 Fifth Street in Lincoln.

The meal will be from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm with ticket prices at $8.00 (Children 6 and under eat free). The dinner includes desserts and drinks. Carry outs are available.

Proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund various local youth programs including: Community Action Day Camp, Lincoln College scholarship, LJHS Builders Club, Operation TOUCH, YMCA, Boy Scouts, 4H, LCHS Student of the Month, and the Park District Easter Egg Hunt.
