December 26, 2012, By Mike Fak, It was so big in its first year that organizers of the annual Mardi Gras Night for Carroll Catholic School have announced the second mardi gras will be at the larger Knights of Columbus Hall this year. The event is planned for Saturday, February 9 and will be an evening of great food, live music and fun.

The New Orleans style foods will be prepared by Peggy's Place and Fat Boy's BBQ. The menu will include Jambalaya, kabobs, red beans and rice, smoked pork loin, shrimp and Peggy's special King cakes.

The Patti Deener Band was such a hit last year that they have been brought back to play again this year. Mike Fak will try to move things along as emcee and there are plans for some great laughs during the night.

Although in only its second year, the Mardi Gras Night already has a buzz circulating the community so it is recommended everyone reserve their tickets now.

The organizers ask that businesses and individuals sponsor a table and bring those special friends or employees with for a fun evening. Table sponsor prices begin at $600 and give you 8 tickets to the evening, There are also $400 levels with 4 tickets and $200 that comes with a pair of tickets. Individual tickets are available while they last at $45 per couple or $25 per person. Due to the initial demand for seating, reserved seating outside of table sponsors will not be possible.

There will be no silent auctions or any other types of fundraisers at the event. Pay your way in and then just relax and have a great night with friends.
